Pastor Jerry Breese

Pastor Jerry began his ministry at Avondale in June of 2003. He and his wife, Karen, have four grown children.

Pastor Jerry is a graduate of Calvary Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He served in three churches prior to coming to Avondale to serve as lead pastor for over sixteen years. Now he is happy to serve as teaching pastor for the new Solid Rock Bible Church. In addition to his ministry, he enjoys reading, writing, woodworking and music.

As a pastor I see many people struggling with tough life issues, and concerned about their future. “My life seems to be going nowhere, and I have no hope for the future. I see no way to make things better.” “I feel so much stress right now and no one to turn to.”

If that sounds familiar, you are not alone. At Solid Rock Bible Church we would like to introduce you to the real hope for your life: A deeply personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He very much wants to be your Savior, who takes your life from where it is now, to where it ought to be. Through the years I've noticed that God frequently puts just the right church people in our lives who are an encouragement and a help. At Solid Rock we like to think of ourselves as your “other” family. Here you will find people who will listen to you and help you develop your relationship with God.
